Bio

Rachel A. Clark began at Purdue in 2001.  Her first professional love is sports nutrition, and she worked with Purdue’s student-athletes as a Sports Dietitian until 2014, when she transitioned to her second professional love: teaching RDs-to-be in the Nutrition Science department.  Rachel specializes in experiential education and integrates hands-on, real-life experiences into every course she teaches, including Nutrition Counseling, Applied Nutrition Counseling, [Group/Mass] Nutrition Communications, and Rookie/Continuing Experience in Sports Nutrition. Rachel feels that enjoyment is an undervalued, make-or-break factor in people’s ability to make lasting health-enhancing food and eating-related changes.
